Border Patrol Industry Academy 2015-2016
In 2015-2016 WHSR hosted the first ever Border Patrol Industry Academy.
The Border Patrol Industry Academy was an unprecedented, in-depth, one year program designed to strengthen Industry collaboration and knowledge of the Border Security mission. It consisted of quarterly sessions. The four sessions, in order, included an opening session at Border Patrol Headquarters led by Chief Fisher and his Senior Staff, selected Southwest and Northern Border Sector tours, and lastly, a training and a graduation ceremony that took place at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico.
